Parking Fines Enforced

You may have read recently, The Telegraph’s article about a private parking company taking a Dundee woman to court after she was issued with parking charge notices to the value of £18,500.  The parking company won the case and the woman was ordered to pay £24,500 including expenses. Court Judgment

This case has set precedence in court and following this, some of our clients have received letters from TNC (the debt collection agency for P4 Parking) chasing historic debts from uncancelled parking charge notices.  The time limit to cancel parking charge notices with P4 Parking was 21 days from the date of issue.

If you receive a parking charge notice from the current parking company, Horizon Parking; please do not ignore it.  If the charge has been issued to you in error, or if you have a valid reason for not having your parking permit displayed, email the details to enquiries@lpmonline.co.uk to allow lpm staff to investigate.

You only have 21 days from the issue date of the parking charge notice to appeal any charge.
