lpm Charity Golf Day scores well for charity

Life Property Management have a continuing commitment to develop our corporate and social responsibility to have a positive impact on society. As part of this commitment, throughout each year, we support deserving charities and offer funding and help whenever we can.

Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity raises money to ensure that the babies, children and young people treated at the children’s hospital receive the best possible care and the team at Life Property Management fundraise for this great cause throughout each year.

Earlier this week Sandra Maitland, Head of Business Development at Life Property Management met with William McGowan, Head of Fundraising, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity  to hand over a cheque for £4000, raised at this year’s Charity Golf Day.

William commented, “This generous donation will help to ensure that young patients and their families from across Glasgow and the West receive the extra special care they deserve in hospital. We would like to share our heartfelt thanks with Life Property Management for their continued generosity and support, which truly makes a difference to the lives of our young patients.

Thanks to generous donors, fundraisers and volunteers, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity raised over £4.7M last year to support more children in hospital than ever before. As the Charity looks forward to the festive period, their Neonatal Appeal has now launched which aims to raise £250,000 to fund specialist, life-saving equipment for Glasgow’s three neonatal units. Almost 2,000 babies are cared for in the Neonatal Units at the Royal Hospital for Children, Royal Alexandra Hospital and Princess Royal Maternity Hospital each year, after being born sick or prematurely. The Charity’s fundraising appeal will help to ensure that the Neonatal teams have access to the latest technology and specialist equipment, to ensure that the tiniest and most vulnerable babies receive the best possible care”.
