Accounts & Financial

At lpm the aim of our Finance department is to strive to ensure that service charge funds are accounted for in a timely and accurate manner providing complete transparency on development expenditure.

Each development has a dedicated Finance Administrator who works closely with our Estates department to prepare and administer quarterly/biannual service charge accounts. The team also assist the Estates department in preparing annual service charge budgets which set out the estimated running costs for the coming year. Regular management accounting information is reviewed to enable expenditure to be monitored and controlled.

We hold individual trust accounts for each development which allows the funds to be ring fenced and not classed as an asset of lpm. Funds are used solely for the specific expenditure within their development.

The timely collection of service charge funds is fundamental to the ongoing management of a development and our Credit Control department follow robust procedures to minimise the impact of non-payment on development funds.
